District 2 Fashion by CdCblanc District 2 Fashion by CdCblanc
BAZINGAA ;D
so today I finished the "District 2 - Collection"!!
this time there were 2 main inspirations:
1. military/esp. old armors because District 2 "is where most of the Peacekeepers are trained and weapons are manufactured"
2. marmor, beacuse of the industry there (and I like the texture)

I hope that makes sense ... if not ... I still hope you like it :D
Have a nice day!!

These are all beautiful. As a collection though the short gowns dont seem to go with the long gowns too much, it almost seems random or two diff types of collections are put together(im not talking about theme, i mean like ones couture and the other is designer or bridge). they really stand out though, except the short red dress to the left. That one would be completely forgotten in a runway show standing next to these dresses. Its beautiful but i feel like compared to the rest it'll be very unappreciated and wont be able to stand out as a strong piece. Overall very beautiful.

OK. i am not so educated in what distract 2 is. But i can see that some of the dresses here fit in with the theme, some better than others. The first one I like a lot because of the bottom portion. It represents the stone part of their culture greatly. The second and fifth dress confuse me. It confuses me because of the red. I don't see how it is affiliated with district 2, unless it has something to do with blood. The third dress just scares me of how tight it is around the legs and ankles. If anyone were to wear that dress, then their movement would be limited. The shoulders and veil are great though. The fourth dress (like the first) greatly represents district 2. The pattern and texture of it imitates the stone wonderfully. The sixth dress goes along with the theme too. But back to the fifth dress, other than the red, it looks like something that was taken out of the military and then spruced up into a dress. I like the military effect on the shoulders and the bust. All in all, I would say that the dresses are pretty accurate to District 2 and depict their culture very well. i would like a little explanation on the red part of it however.

The one on the end reminds me of Megara "Meg" from Hercules.
